The line I really like is this: "If you can fill the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds worth of distance run, then yours is the world, and everything in it..."

I'm looking for someone to share the adventure of life. I enjoy learning new things - I taking courses at night in history (one of my interests). I love to travel and enjoy discussing travel exploits. I've been to many parts of Europe, Caribbean and Africa. I love the adventure of going to a brand new place!
I own my own home and enjoy looking after it (I also have a large garden which I like to putter around in). I have pets : 2 dachshunds and 2 cats. They're not my life or anything (basically the cats were left behind when the kids moved out...) but they are a part of the household.
I love the great outdoors (more in the summmer than the winter...!) - I like to camp, go for walks, that sort of thing. I also like movies (action flicks, quite frankly - the more stuff blowing up, the better!). I'm not a big sports fan, except for rugby which I have just discovered, and I really enjoy watching that.
I'm hoping to meet someone who might share any of these interests, or might have a new interest to share with me. I am very curious about life and people and I am looking for someone to share this time with.

I would like to go somewhere where we could talk and get to know each other. The activity is not important - could be a drink at a cafe watching people go by - The important thing is getting to know people, and sharing interests.
