Well, I will try very hard to articulate who I am and what I am looking for in a mate. I have always found it so much easier to write about someone other than myself. I guess that by now you have gathered that I am far from being self-serving. As far as basic good traits, I am sincere, devoted, giving, caring and kind hearted. Please don't get me wrong, I am far from perfect, but who is perfect? I have had many challenging life experiences, but I feel that it has made me a better person, and I view the hardships as a gift. As a result, I deeply value the quality of life and do not take much for granted. Having raised three children (now grown) by myself has helped me become stronger and gain more self-respect. I do not believe in living in the past or holding grudges, as I feel that it hinders positive possibilities for the future. I am practical in nature, but do try to think out of the box. Being able to laugh sure makes life more enjoyable, so I appreciate good humor and feel that it’s good for one's soul. I am a people person, who enjoys time with my friends and always welcomes opportunities for new acquaintances. I see my home as a safe haven and enjoy decorating and gardening. I love to cook and entertain family and friends. I value and cherish my family, and see them as my anchor to my core. I deeply love my children and appreciate that they are well on their way. It's great having the house to myself. I am not totally alone. I have two special boys in my life who are precious Golden Labs. I love the outdoors and appreciate nature. I will participate in most all sports and activities. However, I have to admit that I would refrain from sky diving and bungy jumping. I do believe in taking care of myself and that includes keeping physically and emotionally fit. I am at a place of my life that I yearn for a wonderful relationship, fun, travel and new adventures. Now how do I view relationships and what kind of man am I looking for? Emotional closeness and sensuality are imperative to me in a love relationship. The special man that I would like to meet would be someone that I must trust and respect. Likewise, I would like him to also hold respect for me. Someone well rounded and intelligent is a turn on. I welcome the kind of man that is successful in the business world and pragmatic in everyday life affairs. A man that is sensitive and caring is an important ingredient. I would like to be with someone that has a generous and sincere heart. A good sense of humor and playfulness are great qualities. A man that values his health and personal appearance is also very important to me as well. If you are out there, I would sure like to know about it.

A first date should be meeting very casually for coffee or a drink. If There is connection than the next date can be more personal. I think it would be fun to make a plan during the day. A drive up the coast & a walk on the beach would be fun. Having lunch ata beachfront restaurant would add to pleasant day. This way be a nice and easy way to get to know one another.
