May I ask, are you the sort that prefers to read a list of accomplishments and interests? Or do you prefer something a bit more vague? I think it’s described as mysterious. Not sure my post will fit either but since I have a preference, I thought I’d throw out the query to see what comes back.

I've experienced the usual laundry list of outdoor activities and although I enjoy them I'm not one to fill my every available moment strapping on special shoes or gear to participate in them. I am Personally, Financially, Socially and Professionally responsible. I’ve lived long enough to experience just the right amount of "history" (I think) to appreciate most topics of conversation and will empathize with your stories or tragedies. “Baggage” comes with age I suppose, but I’ve managed to travel light (figuratively and literally).

I’m inquisitive and don’t need much stimuli to be amused or engaged in a situation. My tactile and visual senses seem to dominate followed closely by the audio especially the sound of a slow and calming voice. I wouldn’t exactly say I’m “laid back” (such an over used term) but when I’m home, it’s quiet and comfortable. By nature though, I’m very outgoing and animated. I’m confident you’ll find me easy to talk to and laugh with.

It would be great fun to meet a kindred spirit. You have traveled extensively and want to share your favorite places with me OR you too are looking for someone to discover the wonders of our neighborhood and the world. It’s probably better if you’re done raising children or close to it. You won’t have to compete for my attention and I prefer not to compete for yours. I’ll recognize your strong character soon after we meet and will look forward to being charmed by your flexible attitude and patient nature with waiters, motorists, cats and me.

I must come clean about one teeny little fib...I'm not forty-eight ~ I'm fifty. It seems I fell off the radar when the calendar turned over. But, I have posted recent photos and I expect to see recent ones of you. I’m not looking for a pretty boy ~ I’m looking for a generous smile and something magnetic in your eyes. It’s that appeal that I cannot fully describe. If this piques your curiosity drop me a line.

I prefer some place relaxed and not too loud. Coffee house or a bar ~ it makes little difference to me as long as the chairs are comfy for long friendly chit chat in the event we click and an unobstructed back door in case we don’t. ;-}
