I like my life. I no longer work. My time is my own. I keep the yard tidy and I have a housekeeper. I collect antiques and mid-century items. I use to buy and sell but I sell very little these days and my home is cluttered with interesting things. Going to flea markets, thrift stores and volunteering at the Salvation Army are the ways I spend most of my time. I am also a member of an advisory board for a government program thats mission is to help people with substance abuse problems and a mental health diagnosis. At this point in my life I want to connect with a companion who I can grow to be old friends with. Toward that end I want to communicate and possibly meet a woman around my age,or older. I want to find a person who I can have fun with without wanting to change me too much. This woman is independant and doesn't need me but is interested in sharing some of her time. I don't want to make her change her routines, just make time for a close friendship. I am longing for an emotional connection. I want someone to look after and someone to look after me.
