Bonjour!

As my little one-liner at the top implies, I prefer to avoid normalcy at all costs :) I like things that stand out, that are just differnet enough to make you tilt your head to the side a bit, raise an eyebrow, and go "hmmm."

My co-workers think I'm slightly odd, but respectable and credible in my field. My family considers me independent, ambitious, and "sophisticated with an edge" (it's true--quoted!). My friends think..well, I'm just me.

There really aren't enough words to describe the whos, the whats and the whys that are me..I enjoy and appreciate so many different things in life and I strive to take in as much of it as I can and remain well-rounded (or, like the hair dye, "multi-faceted"). :)

I enjoy a good round of satirizing everything around me, preferably if it is accompanied by a like-minded person and a good bottle of cabernet sauvignon. I thrive on intelligent conversation. I am *just* cynical enough. I have a keen ability to make fun of people consistently and still maintain that endearing, warm fuzzy friendship. I love city life but value my down time on a secluded beach, in the forest, or at the top of a mountain.

Sometimes I make myself laugh, and I think that's just fine. Yes, even when I'm alone. It's hard to take everything in life seriously.

Things I DON'T like: Ignorance, arrogance, narrow-mindedness, stupidity, irresponsibility, lack of ambition, and country music (just DOES NOT do it for me. makes me want to cry..and not in a sweet way). Oh, and shellfish, although I have tried to like it. And going to those places where girls dress up all skanky and boys like it and chase them around. That just puts me in a bad mood. And so does having people message me and call me "cutie." That's just irritating, and really not very original now, is it?
