I enjoy a woman who is confident, trustworthy, loyal, genuine, sensual and happy. One who smiles a lot and has a sense of humor, as well as the ability to relax and take things in stride. I try to stay as relaxed and stress-free as possible due to a stressful profession (writing), so in my free time I spend plenty of time smiling and laughing, enjoying the company of family and friends whenever I can.

I've learned over the years that NO ONE is perfect, just ideal for a particular person. Most women on here write in their profile that they are looking for certain things; I look at it from the other perspective: from past experiences, the type of woman I'm NOT intersted in is:
- an introvert (anti-social, lacks communication skills);
- a smoker (ugh);
- multiple tattoos (I don't mind a single, well-placed tat that's not visible while wearing regular clothing, anything else I find unattractive);
- one who lacks trust and self-confidence (I have several female friends; I'm sure most of you have male friends).

There always seems to be so much pressure to make a first impression on someone that I prefer a low-key approach - go to a Panera, Brueggers, or a bistro for coffee/tea, or do something relaxing and fun, like mini golf or bowling. Something where you can see the person for who he or she really is - away from work, stress, etc.
