About Me
Let's see.... I am a Adrenaline junkie!!! My nickname is AJ for just that reason. I will do just about anything that gets my blood pumping. I have recently gotten back into running. I have a few half marathons under my belt. Will be running Chicago marathon for the first time this year. I also have and still occasionally race mountain bikes. I am very active. I have been told on several occasions that i am a confident man. I just know who i am and I am very comfortable with who I am.
I need a partner for my madness. Ideally a woman who can and will get out to do some of the fun things I do on occasion. I do not want someone connected to my hip. I prefer a quiet evening at home or with a few friends cooking out. I will and have been known to go out every once in awhile. The bar scene just is not a place for me to be regularly. I like a good bottle of wine and a book to help relax.
I have 3 beautiful daughters. 1 grown and 2 that live close by.My daughters are my world. When they are with me it is about having a good time. We certainly do have a lot of it. If I was to die tomorrow I would hope to be judged as a father to my daughters. That is how important it is to me to be a good father. I think I have done a good job so far. Atleast that is what my girls tell me. LOL
I run 4 times a week. Bike as much as I can. Usually on the evenings I do not run. There are times when I will come home from running jump on my bike a hour later and ride 20 miles. I feel as well as I did and in just as good of shape as I did in my late 20's. I have been told I refuse to act my age at times. I am fighting feeling my age. I like to have a good time and laugh often. I prefer being outside to being inside the house. I am a union concrete mason.
When it comes down to it. I am a man who enjoys laughing, family, friends spending time with someone special. I enjoy the simple things in life. Being outside as much as I can. I enjoy playing Softball on Sunday afternoons with my buddies. Taking off for a weekend to explore some new winery. Spending time on the river with jetski's or on the boat.
