Cyber dating - a first for me; amazing how things change as we gracefully age.
In the "I Am Looking For" section, they really limit limit your choices. I would best describe my "looking" as being for a companion first; what transpires from that point is something of which I have no preconceived notions. I neither limit nor predetermine my expectations. I am entering the world of cyber dating with an open mind and probably with a bit of naivety, which is fine, as I am both easily amused and completely fine with laughing at myself.
I am not married, separated, recently out of a relationship, carrying baggage or have psycho's stalking me. I am comfortable being with myself which is a necessary, healthy and positive step for anyone; especially prior to entering into any kind of relationship.
Not sure how comfortable I would be sharing all my deep, dark "secrets" on a dating website with peeps I have yet to meet. Frankly, I prefer to share the more personal, emotional and humorous sides in person and/or over the phone. That said, here are some basics.
Interests: music, laughter (mostly at myself), worshiping the sun (all 7.2 days a year we have here in PNW), books, fly fishing, shooting darts, shooting dice, BIG, BAD ASS ROLLER COASTERS, browsing unique shops, "man work" (messing in the garage), "So You Think You Can Dance", cooking, camping, kids (the well mannered, well behaved kind) and.......hanging at the pool with a mai-tai and music.
Dislikes: (I rarely find ANYTHING I hate): being indoors for too long, flying on commercial aircraft (flying sucks these days), driving in traffic (ok...........I DO hate that).
Favorite Quote: If at first you don't succeed, try again. If you don't succeed a second time, give up - there is no sense in making a damned fool of yourself!...WC Fields.
What am I looking for? Actually, I have become comfortable with not really "looking" at all. Chemistry probably cannot be found reading black font over a white background. It has to be experienced. I still like to believe we will "just know" when it arrives.
I am self employed and can be somewhat flexible as it relates to meeting and spending time. I love talking to and helping elderly individuals; you can learn so much from those who have experienced many things in their lives. I feel it is an obligation to help those less fortunate than myself.
