Let me see what I have to say about myself. Not really all that good at self description, but here goes anyways. I am an extremely independant person who is used to taking care of things. I have two grown children, my son (21) is still living at home, and my daughter (25) is currently in China.
I like to spend my time with my kids and my friends, as well as take my dog for a walk every day. I love to cook and entertain and house parties are a big favorite of mine as far as bringing ppl together.
When I do go out with my friends, I like to go dancing, although the bars in this city seem to be geared to the young ones anymore. My favorite music is New Country, although I listen to a lot of pop and soft rock as well. I can remember disco, and it usually takes me back to a time that was a lot more innocent.
I like long walks in the park, quiet time spent just talking or taking in my surroundings, I like to do a bit of travel, although I can't really say I've been anywhere exotic, laying on the beach is just not my cup of tea, I like places that have a ton of things to see and do and keep you going from dawn to dusk.
I am a very early riser, usually up by 6:30, and that's the days I get to sleep in.
I believe in honesty, fidelity and truthfulness. I'm looking for someone who feels comfortable enough to be themselves, while accepting me for who I am, lets be honest, none of us is perfect, and someone who can talk openly about the events that have shaped their life, good and bad, up to this point.
I'm definitely not a serious person, except for when it comes to my work. I have a very sharp wit and usually use it without thinking. I love to laugh and have fun and I like to make others laugh and make them happy.
A nice first date, especially at this time of year, is a nice dinner, maybe out on a patio if it's a nice evening, and then a walk through the park. I think the most important part of any relationship is communication and a good way to start to get to know one another is to start talking right away and let the other person know about the type of person you are. What one says, and how one talks, speaks volumes about the deeper person inside.
