I miss that feeling; do you? You know that feeling, that feeling when it comes to that person in your life that makes you feel like a teenager again! Trust me, I know my teenage years are behind me but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to feel that way! Although, some people would say that I’m still a teenager at heart and I have to remind people that I do not have any kids so I can do what I want like a teenager. But the responsibilities are there!

Having peaked over that big 50 I have learned the responsibilities of the 50’s being the new 30’s and I definitely feel better now then back in my 30’s! No more all night drinking, well, maybe once a year when old friends get together and they don’t seem to last all night but sure does take awhile longer shaking it off! Eating right and exercise are essential to making sure I continue to enjoy everything that life has to offer.

My great getaway from the mundane is my Sunday motorcycle rides. If you ride or want to ride or just like to be a passenger all the better. During the summer I limit my riding to breakfast rides but during the cooler months, who knows. Even with the high fuel prices a hop over to Naples, Jensen Beach or Ft. Myers for lunch is a great getaway for the day. (By the way it’s a Honda Cruiser, just don’t get the hog culture.)

One thing I know is that I’m happy with myself and am looking for someone who is also happy with themselves both emotionally and physically. My music tastes are eclectic from both today’s rock, 3 Doors Down and Daughrty, to classic, Rare Earth and Steppenwolf, Blues, Tinsley Ellis and some Gov’t Mule, and of course Country. I’m a auto racing fan from way back and still enjoy following the sport. I enjoy working on my yard and there’s nothing like taking a midnight dip in the pool!
