My name is Steve. I am 6' 1 and approx. 200 pounds. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. I am in my 27th year as a firefighter and still love my job. It can be demanding at times and reguires me to maintain my physical condition. I work out every shift, and then go to the gym for a hour of cardio on my days off. My job has allowed me to see the best of people, and the worst. It has brought me great happiness at times and sadness at others. I try and live life to it's fullest because I know just how quickly it can end. I prefer care free and laid back to hustle and bustle, as I have seen what stress can do to people. I love being on the water and really enjoy going to the Keys offshore fishing and snorkeling for lobsters. I go down to Marathon several times during the summer with my brothers and friends. I enjoy seeing new places and have been to Norway and northern Italy on ski trips. I really want to do an Alaskan cruise some summer. I enjoy most foods, and am not affraid to try something new. I enjoy cooking for someone special, but also like quiet resturants for quality time and good conversation. I would like to find someone who is sure of herself, someone who knows where she's been and where she wants to go. Someone who's not affraid of taking a chance. Someone who takes pride in themselves and maitains their physical condition. And someone who enjoys the beauty of the outdoors, whether it be a beautiful beach, or a snowy mountain top. I would like someone who is just as content snuggling on the couch watching a movie, as they would be doing the downtown scene on a Friday night. I know it sounds like I'm asking for an awful lot, but I know what I want and the type of woman I'm looking for.
