As to family, most of my family lives out of state. We travel to see each other when we can. I have no children and don't mind if my guy has some.

It all depends on the time of year, New Orleans has an event most weekends. We could go to a festival or parade. There is plenty to enjoy at either one. The event would provide topics of conversation. We could two step and play carnival games. I love to get into the spirit of the day! Costumes for Mardi Gras. Wear green to St. Patrick's Day parades and flirt with the marchers. Wear a flowered hat to the Mother's Day concert with the New Leviathan Oriental Fox Trot Orchestra. Wear sun dresses and sandals for Jazz Fest. When we contribute our enthusiasm to the event then the fun factor increases.
I've seen on this site a block for Activity Partner. And my notes seem indicate that only want activities. As we get to know each other, there certainly will be plenty of times when we just hang out around the barbecue, watch videos and walk to the coffee shop.
