I live in the country and enjoy spending time outdoors whether it's walking through the woods, relaxing on the porch watching the breeze tickle the tree tops, or as mundane as weeding. I'm a nature lover, rainy nights included. A day at Lake Livingston, BBQ'ing with friends and family, boating, walks along the lake shore people watching and feeling the wind blow through my hair, all make a simple weekend turn into mini-vacation. Have you been to the Big Thicket? Incredible! It's like stepping back in time into some long forgotten world.

I also enjoy a good mystery or thriller and have been known to disappear for endless hours with a good book.

I like a variety of music from the '60's up, with a few oldies thrown in. How can you not love 'I will survive' or 'Sentimental Journey?' I'm also a dedicated country fan. I avoid clasical while driving; for some reason I have a tendancy to speed whenever it's on. Haven't figured that one out yet. Lately I've oddly developed a love for electric guitar, somthing I never appreciated as much before. And who knew Flogging Molly could be so much fun? Fortunately I have tolerant neighbors.

I'm a practical, down to earth person, and try to keep at least one foot on the ground at all times. The other is usually up in the clouds somewhere, laughing at all the everyday misadventures of life. What's in my heart ends up in my hands; I love being there for others. Whether it's an ear to listen or help painting your house, I'll be there. I'm upbeat and optimistic and look at life as a mountain to climb where the view just keeps getting better with every step.

Like all of us, I'm looking for someone to share my life with. Not a reflection of myself, but a man who knows who he is and is comfortable with himself. Someone who can look himself straight in the eye each morning in that mirror and smile, secure in himself and a positive in the life of those around him. An outdoorsman who also likes to cuddle up on the couch with a good movie. I hope to share some of my interests and be challenged to learn some new ones from him. I want someone who's hand I can take hold of and watch the sparkle light up his eyes as he feels my touch.
And if you have the patience of a saint, I would love to learn how to dance!
