Requirements for applicants:

(i) Must be currently living, including but not limited to having a pulse and occasional breathing, and plan on living for the foreseeable future.
(ii) Must be willing to relocate to Portland or surrounding area.
(iii) Must be female.
(iv) There are no formal educational requirements, but expect functional literacy in a variety of interesting subjects.
(v) Must be willing to travel.
(vi) Must blow my mind at least weekly.
(vii) Must not have the words "cling on" or any variation in their profile. Get over yourself. Only bona fide Star Trek fans may be excepted from this requirement. Similarly, if your profile asks "Where are the real men?" or any variation on that question, the only way I will talk to you is if you message me first. Seeing that is a real turn off. You haven't been looking very hard if you haven't found me yet.
(iix) Must be kind to people and respectful of animals.
(x) Must be interested in actually talking to men, as opposed to just collecting emails from them.

About Me:

I am a 26 year old male. I studied math in college, and am working on finishing my Bachelor's degree. I am also working to take the first Chartered Financial Analyst exam in June 2010. I like to play bass guitar, and I am doing some wood working. I like juggling too. I can show you if you'd like. My aspiration is to continue to take long vacations between fun projects. I think that every day that passes that you don't learn something new is wasted.

People think I'm arrogant and hard to relate to. It is true that I don't have much patience for dumb people. But even then, I just get away from them as quickly as possible. I value egalitarianism, and my politics and attitudes about relationships flow from that. I live according to my ideals, as much as is possible. I am a hypocrite, but we all do the best we can.
