Still with me? Splendid! Here's the drill...I'm a single black male, 47 years old, standing 5-10 with a large stocky build. I dress well if not stylishly, and possess a martini-dry wit which can go sarcastic if the heat's on or if my sense of justice has been outraged. Otherwise it's rather gentle, much like it's owner. My interests are very diverse--reading, writing, research, movies, music, and model building are the principal passions at present, but I also enjoy art, photography, the theatre, dinners out, the occasional night out at the pub, and good intellegent conversation with great people.

Who is my match? Plainly put, she is a single, widowed, separated or divorced attractive-to-my-eyes-only woman, race irrelevant, between 40 and 55 years of age. What is important to me is that said lady has charm, grace, wit, maturity (but can still let her hair down on occasion), a pleasant personality and a professional attitude. One needn't be drop-dead gorgeous to possess these attributes, no more than having more degrees than a thermometer makes someone 'educated' (those who think otherwise are bloody snobs....)

I only have three 'musts'--must be drug free, must be disease free, and must have a profile with a picture attached--I won't respond back unless you have one. Non-smokers preferred--but seriously, that is not etched in stone; I've dated smokers before, so it isn't that big a deal.
