I enjoy some sports (playoff baseball, hockey, college football), esoteric conversations - like the proper pronunciation of "boiled peanuts" (answer: it depends on which region the phrase is uttered), computers/computing/networking.

I'm a fan of Sci-Fi, have a somewhat warped sense of humor (very dry, somewhat sarcastic, occasionally biting). I'm a gadget freak, and vaguely into photography. Cameras being another form of "gadget".

First date should be something simple, where talking can occur - no movies, plays or operas! It should also be reasonably short, like a lunch. If it doesn't work out, no biggie. If it does work out, well lunch can...linger...
