I enjoy most sports although my involvement in sports these days is more watching than participating. I stay busy going to my childrens' events as they are very important to me. I also spend a lot of time exercising, trying to eat reasonably healthy, and volunteering.

I have gone through some challenging times but believe that such times can make a person stronger and appreciate life more. I can acknowledge that I may be too serious at times and am more on the quiet side but open up once I get to know someone. But yet I do have a side of me that is spontaneous, playful, flexible and willing to try new things.

I am looking for a likeminded person who is still learning about life, is honest, gentle, open, curious, playful, and not one who thinks they have all the answers. In short someone who still has some kid left in them but also knows what it is like to have made it through some challenging times and is open to sharing their past. It seems to me that one's experiences help explain the person they are today. Probably most important is that this person is willing to communicate and open up. I would love to find someone who is my best friend that I can talk about anything with and at the same time have that attraction or chemistry for.

And if you have children that is a plus to me. I enjoy being around children of all ages - I think they keep you young at heart.

I would much rather IM than send messages back and forth. It seems much easier to get to know someone through IM than "snail mail". And no hard feelings if you remove yourself from my favorites - we won't waste each other's time.

At this point, I'm looking to go out and have some fun. Recently divorced. Nothing serious now.
