Well, so far I've met some great people on this site. But not anyone special...yet. I'm looking for someone to share life with. I like to get out and go for a day hike, walk along the water, cook, mountain bike, run around with the soccer ball, watch the stars(no not the hollywood type), people watch downtown etc. Just want someone to share some laughs with. I appreciate good sarcasm. I like all kinds of music as I listen based on mood more than anything. Whether its acid jazz, rock, funk, metal or reggae. I have travelled to much of Europe(France, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Ireland etc) as well as Maui, parts of Mexico and most of our beautiful British Columbia. I think I need to see more of Canada next. Just exploring Vancouver Island takes years! We are lucky to be living in paradise. I'm not looking for perfection. Just someone who is intelligent, loving and has a smile that melts my heart. :)

From my experience so far, with this internet dating thing, I find that a more casual meeting like going for coffee/a pint/walk is best. Not really a date. That can come next. I prefer something more relaxed because you need to see if there is that spark. If not, meeting a new friend is always good as well. It's funny how on paper someone seems perfect but until you meet them in person, you just never know....
