Through the years I have grown older; I would LIKE to say I have grown wiser, but in truth, I have only learned how little I truly know. I am going to entertain you with the truth; it will seem to be a lot of BullShit, as I am inclined toward very figurative writing.

I seek only friends, as I have found the love of my life! I am captivated by the most enchanting, exqusite, and stunning Angel that has ever wandered this world. If possible, I want to be the man of her dreams. I have known her all of my life; not by name (until a couple of years ago), of course; rather by the essence of who she is, and yes, she knows me. These magnificent "Angel" creatures exist in very rare quantities, and most often, they profess to being "an ordinary girl." According to "The Official Angel's Handbook," I've heard, THAT is the ONLY fib they are ever allowed to tell humans. (The truth is that she is quite extraordinary.)

I am here for friends and forums ONLY. I wear "ironclad chastity pants (mighty whitey tighties)" and blinders. Any attempts to seduce me will be met with my glare of incredulity and my steadfast refusal to be your sperm donor of choice. Understand? I DON'T DO BABIES ANYMORE! I MIGHT make an exception for my Angel, but only if she asks me nicely.

I am sort of a “hand full” – I have a background as a writer, but I am much, much more than an observer – I am fully involved as an ardently-participating, dragon-fighting, challenge-seeking, old-fashioned adventurer. If you dare me, I would do almost anything (at least once). I am a rainbow on a stormy day and a blazing sunrise on a dismal night.

Spiritually, I think I might be a Presbyopian (farsighted). The one factor that convinces me that God exists is the presence of that very special Angel in my life. What about MY halo, you ask? Well, it was repossessed a while back, but that is a story for another time.

FAIR WARNING: I am sort of "Over the Hill." I ain't the studsman I usta be (but I maintain high aspirations and a healthy, overblown ego anyway). What the hell! My brain still works, and my soul is still intact, and my heart is somewhat pure, and I DON'T SNORE; nothing else matters. I remain a little short on "Humble and Shy," and I have an ample supply of stupid sometimes. I need to work on that.

I like bass fishing. Own a bass boat? Be sure and send me a photo (of the boat).

I stay busy doing a lot of things, but I am absolutely intrigued by people from other places and other cultures – the further away the better. Spicy, Flamboyant, Exotic, and Passionate ladies light my fuze! I am like a moth attracted to a flame, but I no longer fly (scorched wings). Them damned fire-breathing dragons get more and more accurate every year.

Yes, I am separated -- not divorced -- but I haven't spoken to my estranged for over nine years. I presume she is somewhere in earth's aether, but I don't even know what state (maybe the State of Oblivion?) she is in. Someone told me she was last seen busily corrupting the contents of a monestery somewhere, but I cannot provide independent verification.

My life is measured by Adventures and Challenges -- I LOVE both. Show me a Windmill and a Lance, Sancho and a Burro, and I am in heaven. BRING ON S'MORE OF THEM FIRE-BREATHING DRAGONS! Don’t tell me not to burn the candle at both ends; tell me where I can get more wax! Go ahead! Dare me! The armor and the chainmail may be a bit rusty and worn, dented, and tarnished in places, but the sword still gleams! The defeats have been very few and educational, and the victories have been many and glorious. (BTW: I have it on good authority that God Hates a Coward)

Characteristics: I find out new things about myself all the time. The latest is that I have a tendency to go to the rescue of friends (and children and women everywhere) without ANY advanced preparation. I grab my cavalry bugle and my saber, jump on my white steed, and start charging. Midway through the charge, with saber waving and bugle blaring, someone yells and tells me that I am galloping along nekkid! (It leads to some embarrassing moments.) Forgive me, but I am “just that way.” If you invite me to your costume party, be sure and remind me to wear a costume (please).

I appreciate, admire, and adore women. The most exhilarating, most complete entity that was ever created, after making man as a prototype, was woman. Body bumps were rearranged a little, the mind was refined a touch, plumbing was made a little less accessible (taking away her ability to write her name in the snow), and the heart was given an infinitely greater capacity. The best feature is that they are all slightly different. The only shortcoming they have sometimes is a ration of Sanity, but even the crazy ones are fun! Women are wonderful!

I am at my most genuine and comfortable self when I am in the company of 'ol dawgs, horses, and children . . . Love 'em all.

In the final analysis, I remain a man: I like tall, pretty, educated, worldly ladies. I appreciate a woman with a bit of a “past.” Dedicated virtuous and virginal are for younger, more uninitiated, persons who need more training (ME, a few centuries ago). Show me a tall, leggy, blonde or redheaded Angel with a smile, and I AM DEAD MEAT.

Don't be my friend unless you are prepared to have a nekkid cavalryman show up at your door gurgling on a big honkin' bugle, dragging a drooping saber, and walking a tired ol' white gluebag, . I just can't help it -- I'm "just that way." I travel a LOT -- mostly in the southeast states VA-NC-SC-GA-FL-AL-MS-LA-TX-KY-TN-WV-MD-PA, so check me out -- we might meet for lunch or something. I ain't shy.
