PROFILE CONTINUALLY UNDER RENOVATION

Gawd! It's Xmas again. Absolutely the worst time of year to be alone. I'm hoping to change that; sooner than later.

To begin with I make absolutely no apologies about the length of mine... my profile that is! This is one area where I think size does matter. Please have a decent picture posted in which you are at least attempting to smile; there are way too many badly self taken pictures! Also, at least try to be honest...I do.

STUFF...

- Holy Crap! I'm 40, fairly responsible & still figuring out what I want to be when (if) I ever grow up
- I am an idealistic-realist (or maybe just a dreamer.) I see the sun & the rain clouds but I also know where to seek shelter till the storm is over & the sun shines again.
- I can be opinionated; just a little (okay a lot) though I'm really quite open minded but with some old fashioned morals & values.
- I try not to be very materialistic, but I do like my creature comforts.
- I don't care much for traditional gender roles, I can take care of myself & so can you!
- I'm mostly OK with who I am & not looking to try to change someone else (Yeah,like that ever works!)
- I like to go out but am just as comfortable being a homebody.
- I LOVE music (except rap & hip-hop); music is central to who I am.
- I'd prefer if you have no children; so far, the only 3 for me call me uncle, however exceptions can be made.
- Seeking a woman who is intelligent, loyal, sweet, loving, compassionate, sensuous and a good communicator. One who can appreciate a man who likes guy stuff but isn't at all threatened by what a good woman wants & needs, all while working at creating a strong & equal partnership.
- Body type & looks not super important (within reason) there still has to be some physical attraction. My dream woman is a petite redhead or light-brunette with freckles & green eyes, but as I'm no Clooney, Pitt or McDreamy it's not likely a deal breaker. For lack of a better way of putting it...I like some "junk in the trunk" & I have a very healthy appreciation of A's, B's & occasionally C's! Also if you are a bit geeky or nerdy & wear glasses...OMG you've found my weakness! I prefer the average girl next door type; for me very much the difference between a vibrant real flower & a plastic one.
- Be forewarned I can talk a lot & I love a good debate (not read argument).
- Some would say I can be challenging (I would concur) so if you are up to it, you'd have to be a fairly even tempered, but strong willed, reasonably confident woman (I daresay woman-girl to the man-boy I am).




PEEVES & TURN OFFS

- Vanity, sh!tty dye jobs & heavy make-up.
- Bad spellers & poor grammar; OMG please use spell check.Ever wonder why all those red lines appear under words all over the page? For a free clue...click on one to find out!
- Religious zealots, hypocrites, political extremists & small minded judgmental lemmings. Oh yeah, bigots & racists too.
- Smokers, drug users & habitual drunks (I like beer so I'm not talking mildly buzzed or tipsy here).
- Pettiness, jealousy, bitterness, resentment, grudge-holders, meanness & revenge seekers; please join a 12 step program for Negaholics!
- The silent treatment, manipulative game playing, psychological & physical abuse are never okay for anyone at anytime...male or female.
- If you are a self proclaimed B!TCH, please go bark up someone else's tree.
- High maintenance, neurotic, needy, self centered, controlling psychos need not apply! Issues not wanted; cancel my subscription! Hey, I figure we've all got baggage, but there is a choice in traveling lighter!
- Not looking for casual encounters, friends with benefits or booty calls. Sex without feelings, a certain amount of commitment & monogamy just doesn't work for me.
- Please no sexual hangups or sexual immaturity.
- Also what's the deal with so many breast thrusting cleavage shots on reasonably good looking women? I hope there's more to you than that! I am so definitely not a prude, but some of those shots are...ewwww gross!
