Okay - been a rough year for my family! Time to get the ole positive hat on again:)

Life is too short!

First of all I am not a gold digger, and I don't care how many 'toys' a guy has. If I wanted to date a harley or a truck - I would date one lol. I don't choose dates by how much money they make, or how many toys they have. I am more interested in what the person is like, not what they drive. And sorry - but no kids please. That may make me a b***, but I am not interested in dating anyone that has kids. Its just too hard when things don't work out (especially if the ex is a psycho!)

I seem to be complex, but not really. Although my interests include archeology and history, I do have a great sense of humor as I have been told :) And yes, it can be sarcastic, but I can give as good as I can get.
In my spare time - i concentrate on my business, and my side projects, so I am a busy gal but can always make time.

I am also very proud of my celtic roots. I seem to be attracted to men with the same 'blood' - Irish, Scottish, :)

Would love to move to NY state one day, but thats a long time ahead, if I find the right man to convince me to stay here, I will stay :)

I have a lot of respect for people who are proud of what they do - especially Firefighters, Police and the military. Garbage pay - doing a job that most of us don't have the plumbs to do!

I am here to meet new and interesting people - and to maybe see if I click with anyone. As far as my future goes, I haven't given up totally on the whole committed thing.
Tired of the mind games - looking for a real man that can be honest and in touch with his feelings Maturity is important to me - along with someone who likes adventures and has a young heart.

People who think that its societys fault if their kids are in trouble - and who take no responsibility for anything.
Guys who think they are from the ghetto (and you know who you are - and I am meaning of all types) - what ghetto you from? Onoway? vegerville?
People who come on too strong. People who think they have to lie to make themselves look better - especially when its to put another person down (thats a big hint to some of the women on here that go into other profiles and rate 0 - to emailing them and attacking them - get some confidence chikipoos!)
CHEATERS - I am a smart cookie and can usually find out very quickly.
PLAYERS - I am not into mind games - and wasting my time with players. Eventually I will find out - and your loss
And don't get hurt if i don't respond asap to emails - i am a busy girl - but I will get back to you!

And my huge number one dislike - dishonesty. I so tired of people who omit things, and then say 'well I didn't like - i just didn't tell you' - how juvenile is that? The man I will decide to spend time with will have to be honest, strong (in family values- my parents and nieces, and yes my kitty are the most important thing to me - :) ), would be nice if they were VERY FUNNY - and can put up with a strong woman - who really needs to be cuddled sometimes and shown that she is a woman :) - Tired of dating people I need to babysit!

And have come to the realization after finding and watching old episodes, the Red Dwarf was the greatest show EVER! LOL

First date? Depends. There isn't really much to do in Deadmonton, I mean Edmonton, but I do like imagination when it comes to dates. Going out for a nice dinner is great (no fast food please!), but then doing something that stimulates the soul and mind is always wonderful. I do love to dance, and see live shows. I am the type of girl that likes walks in the rain (I know it sounds cheezy) - but I love thunderstorms - when they don't produce tornados that is. I am a cuddler - but I like adventures too :)
