Even though I appear really laid back, I am also extremlly goal-orientated and driven. I come from a blue collar background (my Dad is an electrical contractor), but have grown up in white collar environments (wealthy east bay suburb and private eastern colleges). I value life experience over "things," or "toys" I am a "man's man," but also know how to use my brain and continue to excersie it regularly. I dislike overly "hard/tough" guys, "elitists," and people who talk down to other people. I will try almost anything at least once...I possess infinite amounts of energy, live my life passionately, and try to make people laugh as much as humanly possible while improving alittle bit everyday. Life's short and you never know what tomorrow brings...

I am into the beach, changing the world, hanging out with my two brothers and our friends (bbq, laughing, watching sports), learning chess and how to DJ better, the mountains, reading, watching sports live, and playing individual sports like billiards, darts, golf, horseshoes, ping-pong etc...(I retired from team sports), traveling, writing.

I am looking one or more of the following "I's" interesting, intellectual, or independent someone who has an open mind and no time-tables.

I desire chemistry and intellectual stimulation before anything else...This can really set the tone in any type of relationship...I want someone who has their own career/life and does not have to depend on me to define themself...an equal. I dislike dates where there is no initial interaction and you can't get to know the person...I can carry on long in- depth conservations on a variety of subjects with any type of person. I can out-talk most guys and even some girls so if you are really quiet or shy I am probably not the best match. I also know how to listen especially if you have something intriguing or new to offer....
