How do you sum yourself up in a paragraph? I’m a city girl whose heart still lies in the prairies where I grew up. I care as much about accomplishing my goals and succeeding in my career as I do about having a garden, a home people feel welcome in and taking care of my family. I am as happy in a dress and heels as I am in jeans and chuck’s. I’m not interested in hooking up at 4am (so please don’t ask) and I don’t need to be pampered- though I appreciate all forms of it. I love books, science, movies, a good debate, beautiful food, bad cop shows on tv, cold beer, hockey, learning anything new, music (what is life without a soundtrack?), a tough session at the gym (and maybe more so the stretch afterward), poetry and, well, fun. I pay the bills with my bartending job and I freelance write and edit on the side. I’m also a student working toward a career as a literary agent. Some rough times have taught me life is amazing and I’m going to enjoy the hell out of it.
