I want an all consuming love as God intended a man and a woman to be, each losing their own identity to become a new being in Him, filled with "Fire and tenderness with the guts to stick around." I am saddened by profiles that speak to independence when what we want and need is interdependence! I don't want to simply be an accessory to someone's life. I do practice an ancient form of Christianity as a member of the Orthodox Church in America, it largely defines who I am. Conservative political views because if the choice is between saving babies and saving whales, I'll go with the babies but I would like to save both!
Just lost my job on 10/26/09 [red flag eh?] but plan to do some subcontracting with local psychiatrists, psychologists until I am self-sufficient with a private practice working with men. I am someone with intense energy, intelligence, occasional off-the-wall humor, enjoys talking to strangers, playfull, affectionate, chivalrous, traditional, can be silly, adaptable to the environment, happy around a campfire roasting hotdogs and marshmallows looking at the stars, good cook, intoxicating kisser, loves to swim in rivers with his pooches.
Would like to develop a place with a gal who would enjoy gardens, critters, and a quiet rural home. Does not do well with skittish women-hoping for someone that enjoys being physically active/fit, playfull, bold, silly, but can also present well in a formal situation should the need present itself. She would be comfortable with her natural beauty. Intelligent, witty, funny, affectionate, loving, quick to forgive and not bear a grudge. We would strive to never go to bed angry with each other!
I try to stay active and would rather be working outside than being inside which my housekeeping attests to! A 'Dog Whisperer' in training, I try to have a calm assertive disposition. I believe in practicing chivalry with my mate and want her to feel taken care of. I also enjoy being taken care of but not smothered or mothered! Prefer not to sleep with critters or have them on the furniture.
Eccletic music taste. I love animals but can't do inside cats as my son and sister are allergic and I want them to be able to visit in comfort.
