Who am I ... well I guess like most of you I am different things to different people.

I like to think of myself as pretty easy going, not usually phased by problems - unless you remind me of the time a pigeon came down my chimney and landed in the middle of my lounge carpet !!

I love the sea and the beach whatever the weather. I like to walk and last year I completed the Playtex 2008 Moonwalk (26.2 miles) in aid of a Breast Cancer Charity with my sister and a friend who was recovering from BC. We did it again this year, but this time it was the half marathon as we didn't take the wheelchair and my friend was expected to walk every step of the way ..... and she did :0)

I love music, especially 80's Jazz Funk, but having said that I am just as likely to be listening to something classical .. I read, embroider and enjoy spending time in my garden.

I'm not over independant, but having been a Transport Manager for 20 years, I have learned to be pretty self sufficient !!




My ideal partner is a man I can trust .... I never used to think that was a tall order - but it's becoming more difficult, possibly because of sites like this !
Someone who won't mind if I don't want to wear make up, will walk on the naze with me and my dog(s) wearing wellies in the rain, won't run out of conversation, knows his way around the kitchen, has a decent aim in the bathroom and shares my warped sense of humour !!

A cup of tea in the local cafe, or a coffee on the end of the pier would be nice.
But I'm open to suggestions ..
