I have just moved to Nanaimo and am hoping to meet some new people, maybe even that special someone.

Just on here looking for someone who is REAL. I have been on here before and have run into many who seem to hide behind the internet. I find the only way to get a true sense of what a person is like is to meet them face to face.

My favorite place to be... at the beach for sunset, or out on the boat. I have been around boats all my life and the ocean is a big part of my life. The ocean grounds me, and I refuse to live further than walking distance away from it. It makes me smile just thinking about it. I rarely go to clubs/bars anymore, and randomly meeting the right person in public is... well, simply not happening. So... why not give this a try? I create my own grammar.

What am I looking for? Just someone who is REAL. It seems so many people these days put so much effort into being something they are NOT, that they have no ability to enjoy what simply IS. I don't like playing games or beating around the bush. Ask me a simple question and I'll give you a simple answer. I am a very visual person, so beauty is...well, beautiful(.)(that was a period) However, if there isn't a "meeting of the minds", there just isn't chemistry.

I love all types of music, and am a huge fan of anything LIVE. I am very active and
spend as much time as possible outdoors. I love to cook and am told I am very good at it. Name your favourite meal and I will make it! My favourites are crepes, seafood, pastas, and anything on the bbq. Did you know fruit on the bbq is fantastic!?

I am ultimately looking for long term. Goals in life include sailing around the world, to own a house on the ocean, and to have a reason to smile every day. I smile a lot. If you are someone who likes to fight please move on, because I have no time for it. There is nothing that can't be solved without raising your voice.

First date would be something casual such as a coffee, a drink, dessert, walking the dog...something like that. If all is well maybe we'll go for a bite to eat. Good food tastes best in good company!
