i love to fish--most time not spent working or studying is spent fishing. i'm very enthusiastic about it and i find it to be very calming (except when i snag a big hog). please don't ask me to help u learn. that's a lame pick-up line and i have little to no patience w/ novices.

a sense of humor is a MUST. not necessarily the stand-up type, but rather laughing at things like when u've spent hrs getting dressed and u spill a drink down the front...or when u've plucked 3 too many hairs from one eyebrow...or u just got home from the grocery and u drop the sour cream and it explodes everywhere...or your best friend thinks bill clinton was the best president to ever live (true story). u know, the kind of stupid shyt u have no control over.

i like people that can spell correctly.

i am opinionated about religion and politics. don't be afraid to share ur views, but be prepared to hear mine in rebuttal.

i have calluses on my hands, my nails almost never look super well-kept, little bruises pop up on my legs, and a farmer's tan is nothing new to me--i work hard. i'm not attracted to anything less than the same in a potential partner.

i smoke. deal with it.

honestly, i'd prefer to go to a hole-in-the-wall, throw back a few cold ones, and see if we can carry on an easy conversation. if there's a spark, cool. if not, the anticipation was still worth it.
