I’m a very young looking 48 year old (not just saying that, I hear it all the time) , average height and in great shape. My photos are all very recent, so I won’t show up on a date with an oxygen tank. I am divorced (since 95) and looking to date someone who is fun, open-minded and enjoys life. I like to do just about anything outdoors, love music, the arts, and water activities. I am very easy going, educated, compassionate, and my friends say funny. I would like to meet someone with similar interests, but I’m not looking for an exact match, just someone who is nice, honest, active, fun loving and able to communicate. I also would like to meet someone who has goals and is successful. I don’t like smoking, motorcycles, control freaks or arrogance, so if you think you are God’s gift to women, I’m not interested. I consider myself a very honest and thoughtful person. I am artistic as well as level headed. I would say that is a rare combination. I have a fine arts degree as well as an engineering degree. I grew up in an upper middle class family, with very loving parents that never fought and I mean never. So I am definitely not used to drama or fighting. I spent lots of time with both of my parents while growing up. My mom taught me the pleasure of helping those who are less fortunate, how to cook a fantastic meal and the value of a dollar. My dad taught me how to use power tools and the importance of integrity.
So let’s meet and see if there is a spark. I don’t really think you can accurately tell if you like someone from a couple of photos and a few paragraphs. If there isn’t a spark (on either side), that is fine. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
First Date
I often hang out with the folks at the Tacoma Mountaineers Club. The singles group has all sorts of fun activities from hiking to dancing. It is a great place to meet other active single people. Come join us! The invitation is always open and you will feel welcome. A first encounter might be easier in a group setting, but a simple meeting for coffee would work as well.
