My self-summary
Hey everyone, nice to meet you! I am originally from India. After having lived in the USA for a little over 6 years on a work visa, I returned to India. I was born in Bangalore in India, grew up in Chennai in India. I have a Bachelors in Engineering from University of Madras, Chennai. Although my major was Electrical Engineering, I have taken up computer programming for occupation. It's been a quite challenging, yet interesting journey for me. Work has taken me from Connecticut to Virginia to Indiana to Iowa to California. The longest I have lived in the USA is in Iowa. I don't know what to say on here except that I am looking for a mutually satisfying relationship. I am fairly open-minded yet opinionated on most things. I am looking for someone of above-average intelligence to share interests and conversations etc. I rate myself as a happy go lucky individual with a free spirit that respects individual freedom and personal liberty. Justice for all is my moral fiber.

What I'm doing with my life
I am a hard working computer professional trying to help businesses integrate their business with Information technology.

I have taken a few lessons of salsa and swing dancing.
I like to sing when I am alone. I am conscious of things happening in my life. I am either kind or indifferent. I watch TV or browse internet looking for news or current happenings. I am well traveled and am not traveling much now. I would like to meet someone with whom to hang out with or see new places or have new experiences.

I'm really good at
Being quiet and peaceful with myself.

Being hopeful of the next big thing to happen in my life.
Being aware of who I am and what I want to be, every moment of my life.

I look different at different times to different people.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I have read a lot of books, seen a lot of movies, heard a lot of music and eaten only vegetarian food. I don't have a preference for books, movies or music, yet food I eat is always vegetarian. I eat cheese and cake and boiled eggs. No omelets for me, unless it's a bread omelet sandwich.

Books: "Many lives, many masters", "The man who sold his ferrari".

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Memento, Forrest Gump, Castaway, American President, Slumdog Millionaire and many, many more.

Music: A.R. Rahman is my quintessential musician. His style enervates me. I am elated that he won two Oscars for Slumdog Millionaire.

Food: Vegetarian.
The six things I could never do without
Independence, Car, Cellphone, Internet, Expendable cash and dreams for the future.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What destiny has in store for me in the future, who my wife would be, what I want to do with my professional life, whether I would be successful as a businessman, why I have women friends but not a girl friend etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Staying awake, sitting at home or staying awake hanging out with friends at a bar or alone at a bar. Planning how to make my weekend eventful or how to make up for lost sleep.
