Hi! My name is Kat. My friends would describe me as being outgoing,hilarious,smart,motivated,empathetic,compassionate,adventerous,creative,easygoing,outdoorsy, someone who makes great chocolate cake,and gives equally great advice..Since Im the one typing this and they arent here,youll have to take my word for it.LOL:)Ive decided recently to give making some new aqquaintances on here a try,as opposed to just perusing the forums and posting poems.Im open to the possibility of meeting someone I may not have otherwise become aqquainted with in day to day life.Why limit yourself right?When it comes to work and life,Ive always been very goal oriented and never satisfied with the idea of just stagnating..God,friends,and family are incredibly important to me.Im happiest when Im outside either walking my dogs in the park,or enjoying a great camping excursion with friends.Ive been known to wear hiking boots by day and stillettos in the evening.Obvbiously Id like you to be versatile too,minus the stillettos...Hiking boots are fine though..*LOL*Im tall(5ft9)but look petite.My measurements are 34-24-34,and Im a size 2/4 .I included this information simply because its hard to tell what a person looks like merely from their profile pictures:)

The simple things in life are the things I believe hold the most inherent value.Every day is different and unique in its own way. I notice and appreciate details about people and places many others tend to overlook.Im not looking for someone to complete me so to speak,because Ive always held the belief that people should enhance one anothers lives and still remain unique as individuals.I dont think its healthy when people try to change to become what they think the other person is looking for either.If people arent content with one another initially,it will only create problems in the future.My guy friends refer to me as a "cool chick."When I asked them to elaborate upon this,they said it means low drama and fun to hang out with..Yes I can provide references to back this up upon request lol.

I thrive on trying new things and enjoy new experiences.Im what you would call a responsible woman with an adventerous streak.Yay! I enjoy rock climbing,mountain biking and camping as well as the arts and cooking.Im very eclectic when it comes to my taste in music and the activities that I enjoy.I take care of business when the situation warrants it,but am easy going enough to kick off my shoes and climb a tree simply because Im in the mood.I also love a spur of the moment roadtrip with no real planned destination in mind. Im fascinated by the world around me and love to immerse myself in scientific study and wonderful books.I could spend hours meandering through the different sections of the bookstore...that is until they turn the overhead lights off and kick me out O:)

I absolutely adore writing poetry which has been a hobby of mine since I was 11, and my parents decided to move our family to amish country.At first, it was a culture shock,and I thought I would never adjust,but then I learned to embrace the tranquility of it all.

My 12 yr old daughter is the most amazingly adorable young lady in the entire universe.I know all of us parents think that about our own children,and of course we're all right. Yay! All children are so beautiful and precious in their own ways,and I wish everyone would treat them as such :)

I've had a lot of experiences in life,but fortunately none of this has left me jaded.Ill always be a child at heart,but this in no way implies that Im childish..unless of course you expect me to share my chocolate,in which case I dont share O:)If you are the type of guy who is equally comfortable fishing,hiking,or camping as you would be perusing a bookstore or attending the symphony we would probably get along wonderfully.Im very adept in regards to taking care of biz in every aspect of my life and I would love to hear from others who are goal oriented,motivated and passionate about life,people, and the world around them.You need not make a six figure income,but if you still live at home in your Moms basement or crash on your buddies couch..please dont bother contacting me..Being self supporting and self sufficent as well as having a fantastic personality(and sense o humor:) are my baseline requirements..If you dont meet the bare minimum..lets not waste one anothers time:)
