I’m looking for many things from companionship to friendship to true love. I also realize the latter just doesn’t appear and that companionship/friendship are very valuable in and of themselves.

In that light I am very much of a no pressure guy. I don’t have a checklist of things that I am looking for or drop people if I find they like something I don’t or have an opinion I don’t share. I have an open mind and if in the end it looks like we are truly incompatible then maybe we at least made a friend or learned something along the way.

I have many varied interests- I love fine dining (either out or at home - yes, I can cook) and good wines. Movies, books, sports, music, travel or hanging out at home. I enjoy walks in the woods and lakes etc but am mainly an urban man. I am not all that much for roughing it unless I can curl up in front of an open fire with a glass of port when done... so if your picture gallery includes a picture of you with a fish or some big game you have brought down, I am probably not your guy (although if you fillet it for me I could grill it drizzled with herb flavoured oil and chill a nice Sancerre.)

For those wondering, yes I am separated - have been for 5 years so it is not a recent thing.
