Football, more college than professional, and hockey: Yes.
Soccer and basketball: No.

What the world really needs is more free cheese. Having been out of work for the past several months, but back in the work force now, free cheese sounds awfully good right now.

A first get together AKA "The Interview" can be the time tested though clichéd meet for coffee or put a spin on that by having drinks or a cheeseburger. If the timing is right the free First Thursday at the Museum of Flight, SAM, or art walk is great for an interactive relaxed walk and talk. The Sunday Farmers Market in Ballard would be much the same though smaller.

For an actual date you can't go wrong with air hockey and beer or take out chinese and a walk on ferry, though Fish n Chips would be even better than take out chinese.

In reality with the right person I can have a good time anywhere while doing anything.
