Hi to all who are fishing on this site, or are just cruising around hoping to be caught by an incredible fisher-dude.

here I am! I'm in the boat, the rod is rigged, the bait is in the water, and I'm hoping for great things. so here's the bait: the worm on the hook is a pretty great guy who knows more about chivalry than just how to spell it, I'm well-employed in the credit union industry, homeowner, avid pet parent, and in pretty much all ways happy and healthy. I work out 4 times a week, make sure that what goes in my body should be there (with the occasional treat, of course!) and try to walk through life leaving a trail of all good and no bad behind me.

I've ridden elephants in Thailand, trekked the Himalayas, cut my foot cliff diving in Croatia, fallen in love in Italy, been kicked out of Hungary by armed guards and dogs, and really can't wait for my next adventure. There are still pages of my passport that are blank...

I'm pretty committed to non-profit work - I volunteer a ton of time for a local/international organization, and am looking to add more in the near future so I'd love to meet like-minded women who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves in the name of great causes.

I've never been blessed with kids but have my grand-nieces and nephew here for the summer every year so have lots of happy experiences and would love to meet women that would welcome a strong male role model into their kids' lives. I'm firm but gentle, loving with them, and they will always have a safe place to land as long as I'm in their lives. (gooey, I know, but if you meet me and get to know me you will find this to be the absolute truth. I had the most amazing parents and will always strive to live up to the model my Dad showed me.)

I spend my leisure time (right!) in the boat at the lake (update: sold the boat but will definitely get another for next summer!) doing anything with my two Newfies, finishing the thousand home improvement projects I've started, and generally enjoying the heck out of this wonderful state we are in. I referee High School football and LaCrosse, so with football season upon us my Friday nights are taken... GO DUCKS!!!!! and while not an avid church-goer, I have a great personal relationship with my God and would love to meet someone that shares that commitment.

My musical tastes are all over the place, hard rap sometimes, cool jazz others, love live music of any kind, let's go have a glass of good wine at an outdoor festival this summer!

I know, that's not a lot to go on, but take a chance! This just might be the bestest hook you ever looked at.. and if nothing else having a cup of coffee with someone nice is never a bad thing. Ciao ragazza and I look forward to meeting you!

OK here's a whiny addition: What's the deal with reading the email, then ignoring it? Are you trying to accumulate as many emails as you possibly can just to win a prize or something? Respond!!! or delete, or something, but as Phil says, "just do it!" You ain't ever gonna find love or even a date by just staring at a monitor. And there are restaurants out there that are hurting and need our dating money!! :-)

OK that's off my chest I can return to being the great, positive man I am.

drinks or coffee, conversation, a polite hug, honesty about great chemistry/lack thereof. Second date: I pick you up, flowers of course.. you are rocking a little black dress, I say HI to the animals as you've wisely hidden the kids, then off we go for a great dinner and dancing. The awkward goodbye at the front door follows, and we leave each other silently wishing we didn't have to.
