I'm divorced, kind of shy, even though I may not look it, and have some tattoos (nothing below the elbows for professional purposes). I'm more Indie-rock than metal (think Failure, Shiner, The Life and Times), somewhat well-read, and have been known to show signs of intelligence on rare occassions. I love watching all kinds of movies, especially comedy and horror (Real Genius and The Exorcist are among my favs). Favorite things to do might include going to comedy shows, trying different ethnic foods (just recently got hooked on Indian Cuisine) and going to concerts. Anyways, get to know me at first and you'll find that I'm quiet. Get to know me a little better and you'll find that I'm quite possibly retarded.

As far as what I'm looking for, I'd love to meet a woman who's independent and is not afraid to make her own decisions or be assertive (in other words, another adult to build a life with and not a child to raise). Intelligence and creativity are very attractive qualities in a woman and it also helps to offset some of the stupid things I tend to say (not that I'm an idiot, but I can be a bit socially awkward at times, though in a harmless and not offensive way). And, as elementary as this may sounds, I'm looking for someone who's a genuinely nice girl. Sounds a bit cliche, but between the divorce and my dating experience since then, it feels like there's a shortage of nice girls in the world. I'm not too sure what else to put here, so just ask!

Weird question. It depends on the woman I'm with. Roller coasters, comedy shows, movies, maybe a play or concert, maybe just quiet conversation over some coffee. I'm flexible and fairly open. I don't expect fireworks immediately and know that chemistry which may take a little time to grow can be every bit as exciting as love at first sight!
