~SEARCHING FOR THAT SPECIAL HAND TO HOLD~

Hi! Thought it would be best to update my profile. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. This is just a huge bump in the road for me and my prognosis is positive, I just may not be myself until after the holidays. I will keep my profile up because I love to read all of my emails and it is nice to know that there are so many great guys still out in the world. I'm not sure if I will start any new relationships at this time. I feel that this may be another one of those "life's lessons" we learn every day in our walk through this life. I am learning how valuable friends and family are during a trying time like this. I have received more hugs in the past 3 months than my entire life! I am truly blessed. Sooo, with that being said, I invite new friendships. I may not get as many responses as I use to, but that's okay, I would still enjoy hearing from you.

I am energetic, independent, love life, my family and job. I have been told that I have a good personality, am sexy and sometimes a little crazy, a personality with an edge. or I am outgoing and can carry on a conversation with just about anyone that interests me. I live in a small town near Walnut Creek/Mt. Diablo, Clayton (San Francisco Bay Area) I prefer to hear from men within 50 miles of my home.

I have two sons that live with me and two dogs, so must love kids and dogs. My children are independent, although, the dogs are a different story. I love to travel and see new things and or course learn new things. I like men that can take control, make plans for the day or a trip, a man that also knows when to let me lead. I want a man that some say are "old school", have manners and know how to treat a lady, open doors, always walk with me, beside me to guide me. I will not date a smoker or someone who drinks every day, social drinkers okay. I love to dance, create and laugh.
My Father use to always tell me "A smile is one of the most valuable things you can give someone, it doesn't cost you a thing and you always get one in return!" He was a wise man, and I have the laugh lines to prove it....My nickname thoughout my lifetime is Sunshine.

I am mentally, socially, emotionally and financially secure. I prefer men between 40-55 yrs of age. I prefer a man that is mature if he is early 40's to the age of early 50's if he also looks, feels and has a young heart. Someone that is physically fit.

I think it would depend on the individuals and our common interests as to what would be a fun first date. Maybe a nice dinner in a quiet atmosphere where we could talk and get to know each other. I love the ocean, and the mountains. A place with a nice view, outside and quiet.
