Me
I live on a small Ohio farm. I enjoy being in nature - in the woods, by the water, out in the sun, clouds, rain, or snow, under the moon and stars; it is good to respect the earth, plants, animals, people, not necessarily in that order. Gardening is a peaceful way I spend an afternoon in summer. I also am most comfortable during fall and winter, my favorite seasons. Cold weather is comfy, and layers of clothing of natural fibers are in my wardrobe. I am content doing needle arts, fine art and reading/researching when confined. I'm not bored with the solitude and isolation.
I have always loved animals and had some in my company most all of my years. I have two outdoor French Pyrenees, one small ankle biter inside, a yellow nape Amazon parrot, and some Mainecoon Dessert Lynx cats /kittens.
I enjoy creating things...especially adaptive reuse of most anything. Through many years of my life I went to college. My interests in Art and Architecture stem from a marriage of good math skills and an ability to draw and to think three dimensionally.
I enjoy treasure hunting, I am not a materialistic person, however I do tend to gather antiques (flea markets, garage sales, antique stores and auctions). I love the adventure of exploring new places. I am not quick to temper and I do not let others dictate my actions. With each choice I have made I have chosen to learn from and not regret the decision, no matter the outcome. Gratefully, I am far better at achieving positive outcomes than when I was a younger woman.
I do not cheat and I am painfully picky. Depending on you, this is either a positive or a negative.
