Hey. I'm Eric and I work for the city of Toronto. I work, and I'm looking for someone to hang out with and get to know. I like to relax usually with the company of friends, as people tend to find it weird when I walk in unannounced into their house. I'm usually quick to laugh and don't take things too seriously unless it calls for it.

That being said, I'm looking for someone who feels the same way. I'm not really into people who take themselves too seriously, and if you can't take a joke, I don't think we'll be very good friends. I'd say my humour is sly sarcasm with a hint of random. I find humour in everyday events so life is a big joke most of the day.

I used to do competitive rock climbing. I once won a bet against a meathead who thought that muscles beat brain. Insert your own joke here.

What makes me unique...AH! I was once in the top 16 in Ontario for Darts.

I listen to a lot of different things. AC/DC, Alexisonfire, Asher Roth, Audioslave, Beastie Boys, CKY, Frank Sinatra, Al Green, Pearl jam, Metallica, Beatles, Rolling Stones, CCR, the list goes on. Ask and you shall receive. Unless it's money...I keep that in a jar by my bed.

My taste in movies is probaly spectacular. Half Baked, Fear and loathing, Fight Club, Beer fest, the Die hard Series, The wind that shakes the Barley. Waking Life, Mystic River. Again...the list goes on.

Reading is big with me. It takes me an hour and a half to get to work, so I need something to read besides the newspaper. I'm a fan of Naomi Klein, Hunter S Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Pahliniuk, and many more.

Ideally I'm looking for a relationship but I'm not on any sort of timeline...and usually the women I'm compatible with are able to chill out, curious about everything and open to new experiences. You can take a joke and aren't easily offended. You can read and spell, and are generally happy with life. The rest is negotiable.

What's the rush? I like to keep things simple on a first date. Grab a coffee or beer and get to know each other.
