I'm not complicated. In general, I'm thoughtful - as in considerate and not impulsive. I tell more funny stories than I hear. Nearly everyone, except my 15 year old, thinks I'm smart.

Outside of work, I'm that guy you see explaining card games to a newbie. I love golf, skiing, traveling overseas and horses, mainly because I enjoy the heck out of where you enjoy them. So, I have lots of photos, no trophies. And, whenever I can, I'm the guy who arrives on the beach around 3pm and stays until sunset. The perfect vacation takes me out of my suburban box, puts me someplace where I get physically tired outdoors and lets me charge my batteries on my schedule. So, I like getting an apartment in Europe more than a resort, dude ranches have it all over cruise ships and I'd rather be on a river raft than a tour bus.

I'm single and back East after 17 years in one marriage & 9 years in Colorado. I worked on Wall Street; but now counsel kids and their families on colleges and college applications as a private college counselor. Some days I use my college knowledge of politics all day. Other days, it feels like I use my MBA all day. I like both kinds of day.

I grew up Catholic in Boston. I attend Episcopal church now because the doors open wider there. In every way.

I'm looking to meet someone who can handle my juggling this seasonal work and two teenagers. Good news: June, July and January are pretty slow! The less-good news: switching gears from living alone to being a single parent on alternating weeks is a challenge. I never wanted to be this good at managing my time.

First, you get a vote. It won't be a Stones concert or at the end of a bungee cord. A coffee shop with no cell coverage or a bar with outdoor tables will be ideal in my book.
