By nature I am a quiet person but my work requires me to talk with people and I enjoy that contact. I love books, second hand book stores and independent book stores. I enjoy reading literature and mysteries are my junk food. I enjoy the city and all it has to offer. I grew up in NYC and still think its the greatest. But I like to go to Maine and unwind. At lunchtime I walk 3 miles with several coworkers. I lost my partner of 23 years 3 years ago quite suddenly to cancer. I realize it would be nice to hear a man's voice, his ideas and have dinner with a man. It would be great to find someone to laugh with. I am looking for a sincere, kind person who enjoys the city, the country, life and trying new things. I'd like to try cycling this summer. I keep a small garden on my terrace. I enjoy doing needlework and listening to classical music or jazz.
