Okay, now summer is over, and winter right around the corner. Can't wait, I love all the seasons. There's something beautiful about each one, to appreciate

Totally into country drives to nowhere, listening to good music, checking out garage sales, and antique stores. Getting right close to Mother Nature, with my dogs, feeling Her Energy. Either on land or water. Would rather do that after a long day, than hit a bar for a drink. I like sports, especially hockey, and anything to do with the outdoors, gardening, etc, or just watching a thunderstorm, or a snowfall.

I have a wicked sense of humour and enjoy playing pranks, as long as it doesn't offend or hurt anyone. I won't lie to anyone, even if it gets me in trouble! LOL! Honesty is always the best policy, so be careful if you want an answer or an opinion, because it may not be what you want to hear, even though I'll be as tactful as possible. Hope to live in the country one day, retire there, with horses, animals and Mother Nature. So, I can teach my future grandchildren, that Nature is a wonderful entertainment unit in itself. You don't need video games, etc, to enjoy life. My kids certainly weren't raised that way, and they turned out to be well adjusted adults! However, by the time I have grandkids, they may be buying tickets to the moon!

Have never travelled outside of Canada, so maybe a trip or two could be in my future as well. I am a very good cook,and enjoy making meals for that "someone". Nothing beats walking in the door to the enticing fragrance of a homemade pie, or meal in the oven. So, part of me is still olde fashioned, mixed with the independant woman.



I'm a lady with a good sense of humour, compassionate, caring, giving, and trusting. I would like to meet a man, somewhat similar to me, or at least with a strong, mature, character, single, has a good sense of humour, and can laugh at himself and me, and is also optimistic. Oh, must like animals and Listens. Not the first criteria I seek, but it is important to me. Animals accept you for who you are, and have been with me through thick and thin, so they are part of the package. AS far as Listening goes, I certainly don't mind hearing all about you, but if that's all your interested in talking about,(yourself),and don't have a genuine interest in what I do and like, move on.

My children are adults, 36 and 34, so I am not tied down to them. I must admit, I am a woman of strong character, morals and principals, I also walk my talk, so I am looking for a man, who is not afraid or intimidated by those qualities. I can be sweet,friendly, and compassionate, and yet am emotionally strong, and opinionated, with a dash of good common sense. There is no point in fibbing on here, I am what I am.

I'm looking for someone with an equal mind, that I can bounce ideas off, and learn as well. If I ask a lot of questions, it's because I'm interested, and truly want to know about you, your hobbies,ideas,and your life.


I truly believe there is someone for everyone out there, that you don't have to change who you are, to attract a mate. I didn't miss the boat, it just sank, halfway to port. Somewhere, there is a person, with the same ideals, and interests,for each of us, and chemistry, I mean soul to soul chemistry, not lust.
I don't want to "change" for anyone, nor do I expect someone to "change" for me, but I will compromise, that's entirely different, than giving up Who I Am.

I do answer all emails, but, I will not give out my phone number after one or two emails, as well as meet that soon either. This isn't a Ford assembly line here, and I'm not a "tire".

Okay, that takes care of my assertive side! LOL!

And yes, looks do play a part in attraction, I'm not going to lie on that point, there has to be some physical attraction there, to get things started. But, that is all relative to the individual.




Now, in spite of all the above, I'm a pretty optomistic woman, and if it's meant to be for me to meet Him on here, then I guess I'll leave that to the Higher Power's. And cross my finger's!
