This isn't something I take too seriously, but it's late, I'm bored, and I'm always down to meet cool new people, so why not. I'm a pretty laid-back guy, but I can be lots of fun. Sometimes I can be hard to get close to, but if you happen to be one of those people that do, I'm fiercely loyal.

I am currently back in college after an extended hiatus after my first ill-fated attempt at higher education, where I am working towards a B.A. in something (was English Lit, but I'm thinking of dropping that to a minor and majoring in something else... Sociology or History).

My main goal is to become a (much) more successful writer, and barring that, to teach at a university level, or if the opportunity arises, to leave a bigger mark on the world. I'm kind of playing it by ear, though, so who knows what the future holds?

My ideal first date generally starts at a coffee shop or somewhere quiet, where we can talk and get to know each other, although from there, I'm more into doing something fun and interactive, such as mini-golf, a game of pool, or a concert. I also really enjoy taking in the sights of an art museum, because I have a passion for art in all its forms, and nothing excites me more than discussing the works of the masters. Just so long as it's not dinner and a movie. I give myself more credit than that. ;)
