Well, congratulations - you are quite possibly the kind of man I am looking for! As the posted warning indicates, I am a very strong personality, and have been accused at various times of being pushy, intimidating, stubborn, impatient, or overwhelming. Of course I prefer to consider myself confident, determined, driven, decisive, and energetic, just to name a few of my qualities.
I love being a woman (with all that goes with it), and I absolutely adore men (and all that goes with them as well)! I am very comfortable with men in general as I am 1 of only 4 females born in my family - the rest of the crowd (and I mean crowd!) are men, so being a tomboy was a way of life when I was younger! So, yes, I can check and fill the fluids in my truck, change a tire, get dirty (and love it), know the difference between a pipe wrench and a pair of vice grips, handle a power tool, and not get flustered or annoyed at male bodily functions. LOL!! I can also dress up (and knock your socks off!) and carry myself like a queen.
I am looking for a man who is straight up and tells it like it is - I like to know where I stand, so we are both clear on expectations. It's rather hard work at times to read between the lines, and I never developed the ability to mind-read!
I'm also looking for someone who is mature (who has time for games? seriously!), considerate, responsible, affectionate (I'm a physical contact kinda girl...), laughs often, and can see the humorous side to life. Honesty and trustworthiness are HUGE must-haves (been lied to and cheated on before? then you know exactly what I'm talking about!), intelligence, communication (beyond a grunt), and an ability to appreciate the little things in life. I'd like to meet someone who isn't afraid to get a little crazy at times, loves animals, and feels a strong connection to family and friends.
On a purely superficial level, preferably be 5'8 or taller (really...don't just tell me you are). Since I am 5'9 myself, I tend to prefer men who are taller than I am. I know, I know! - the whole Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise thing, but if you looked at my pic, I'm not Nicole... LOL!! If you are shorter than 5'8, comfortable with being with a taller woman, and you are still interested, then I'll learn to deal with my Amazon complex... I'm just being honest with you...

- I love dogs, and have a 5 1/2 year old Rottie/Lab mix. Cats are good too, but I don't find birds, rodents, or reptiles very cuddly.
I enjoy conversations with informed people that challenge me and make me think. Yes, I'm going to be turned on just as much by your brain as your physical appearance - looks fade with time, but a rich and facinating personality will always keep me coming back for more. I can't stand people who are rude, ignorant, judgemental, or close-minded. I tend to move quickly when I've made a decision, so don't be surprised or offended if I would like to meet you in person fairly soon after you have captured my interest and we have chatted a few times. I feel more comfortable interacting with a person IN person rather than through an electronic device....
I'm NOT looking for someone who can't - or won't - do their 50% to make a relationship work. Ultimately, I'm looking for a partner and a best friend for life, but I plan on having fun in the meantime! - if that is what you are looking for as well, then let's see what happens!

Well, since the whole point would be to get to know each other better, I'd propose that we meet for drinks to see if our on-screen chemistry was still clicking in a live and personal setting. If not, no harm, no foul, we go our seperate ways. If we do, (and find that the candle that was just lit as we sat down has melted to it's base without us noticing the passing time) then we can do whatever strikes our fancy - take a walk, sit beside the river and look at the stars, find an arcade and take turns playing Whack-A-Mole, share a pretzel from a street vendor's cart, wander through a museum.... If I'm having a good time, it's because of YOU and not due to our activity.
