I know what I want when I see it and I am stubborn enough to try for it when others tell me not too. I really value the friends that I have made along the way, and feel that the most important way to build a lasting relationship is by building a strong friendship. Many of my friends have crazy stories of weird and stupid things that I have done in pursuit of love, yet I have learned valuable lessons along the way. I know that I am not perfect but feel that in striving for perfection you can push yourself to greater heights. One of my favorite quotes is by Les Brown, "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."

I am a gut instinct type of person who likes to think that I know what makes people tick, yet am willing to allow someone to change my opinion by truly getting to know the individual. I grew up playing sports and think that a competive nature is important for succeeding in life, learning to accept failure, and striving to improve in areas of weakness show a person's true character. If you can tell, I was not an english major based on my run on sentences and lack of cohesiveness to my thoughts. I have a small circle of friends whom I consult when making major decisions, and I value their opinions greatly. The friends that you have can say volumes about you. So enough about me.


My ideal woman??? I don't think there is one particular thing that makes a woman perfect. I want someone who is going to complement me, someone that is really my best friend and confidant. I am attracted to intelligent women who can straddle the line between being a tom boy and a girly girl. I want someone who wants to go to the ballgame with me in the afternoon and isn't afraid to go without makeup, and then change into formal attire to go to the theatre in the evening. I want to be active with her, yet enjoy watching a movie on the couch just as much. I want someone who is honest, sincere, and willing to talk about difficult issues; someone who can discuss the current political atmosphere of Russia, and also talk about the way the Chargers are going to have to improve their offense to make it to the Super Bowl. Maybe all this is too much to ask for, but I don't think it is.

My first date would ideally be at the zoo. I like animals and my mate should enjoy them as much, plus I like active women and spending time traversing the zoo would show your stamina and give a chance to show you off in a different light. Now, since this scenario usually is unable to happen, I like to meet for a coffee/tea/latte, and enjoy conversation and see if there is chemistry there.
