| | Made the move from Ontario to BC. Was told by my future daughter-in-law that moving to BC meant bring cash, get a pickup, and enjoy the scenery. Had pics posted of the mountains from my front yard, the lake 2-3 miles from home; my rescue pup, etc. but had to remove them because it's against the rules. And yes, I sometimes do what I'm told so I got the pickup.
I enjoy weekends boating, rafting with other boaters or watching the fish swim by while I hold the rod for their amusement as well as time with family and friends, picnics, bbq's, music (from ABBA to Zydeco), slow dances, bonfires, walks in the rain, sunsets and sunrises, fireplaces, reading, street festivals, country fairs, soccer, hockey, baseball, long walks or drives in the country, animals, or spending a rainy Sunday in bed doing the NY Times crossword or ???. I'm just as comfortable in jeans or sweats for a casual outing as I am dressed to the nines for a night on the town.

Good question but it depends on the people involved. Could be the proverbial coffee at the local bistro. Maybe a drink at an outdoor patio watching people stroll by. Could be a walk along the waterfront while getting to know one another. Maybe a nice walk along the shore with our dogs. Could be skydiving or bungee jumping ... only kidding but if you want to try, I'll watch. |
