I like trying new things, and think that new things should be tried more than once before dismissing them. Sometimes being 'out of your element' can give you a new perspective on your life and the people around you. This doesn't mean that I go around doing things that are stupid or dangerous (actually I should say too stupid/dangerous), but you only live once as far as I know, and what you did makes for better stories than what you didn't.

I enjoy geeking out to many various hobbies which encompass everything from playing the most inaccessible of games (both board and video) to acutally buying and reading comic books. I know. Insane. I don't let these hobbies run my life though. I love to party, especially when it's not at my place, and enjoy meeting new people. I also enjoy playing sports and leaving the gym after a good workout.

I love music. I wish I had someway to fill my skull with beats more effectively than headphones and an MP3 player. I played the clarinet and saxophone (jazz), and listen to ska, punk, and old school hip-hop. As of recently I've also gotten into electronica.

I like to travel, and wish I could do it full time. I've touched every continent except Antarctica and Australia and hope to get to at least one of them soon.

I hope to meet someone who can motivate me when I'm being lazy, and tell me to slow down when I take on too many challenges. I hope to meet someone driven because competition can be fun. In the end I'd rather have a partner as opposed to a warm body. Kinda like when Voltron's body parts come together to form a huge butt-kicking robot of Doooooom! Except it'll just be the two of us.

I guess a first 'date' from someone on this site would involve something quick with an easy exit strategy. Maybe early in the morning at a coffee place or some other public venue. The second date is where I'd get all nervous and butterfly-stomached, and I'd plan something better. I've never been to a salsa club, so that might be fun.
