I am a country girl living the city life. I am a bit out of my element in this situation.. I prefer to live simple and honest. Todays lifestyle seems to contain too much drama and heartache. I am simple in the fact that family is really the most important thing to me.

I love the sweet simple aspects of dating.. the handholding, the moment of looking at the person you are with and feeling absolute security and contentment, and of course the front porch goodnight kiss. I am not looking to be a one night stand or a number in someones collection of weekend activity partners. I am looking for greatness. I'm still optomistic enough to believe that true happiness can be achieved.

I am searching for proof that there really are men who have honest and true intentions. We all of course have our share of history.. but I prefer to think that we can take the lessons that are learned and become better people because of them. Our pasts don't always have to hinder us.

My ideal man is someone who is family oriented not just in spirit but in action as well. I prefer a man who can stand beside me and be my friend, my partner, and my lover. A man who is willing to occasionally take a chance on the romantic side he no doubt has. A person who can make me laugh holds my deepest respect.. for what is better than knowing in the worst of times there will be someone who can shed a ray of light into the darkness. Simply put I want my best friend.

Our first encounter wouldn't be a "date" but a simple meeting for coffee or even lunch to find if the spark is there.
