Sometimes I feel like I'm 52 going on 33. I work hard as a hospice nurse, and I like to play as hard as I work. I'm originally from south Arkansas, but have been working as a travel nurse out in the southwest for the last several years. I'm finally back home now after 10 years away. I'm not much into clubs and bars, but like to listen to live music sometimes. I really love to watch movies at home, or maybe go out to eat, or camping with good friends. I love to play cards (especially partners Spades) I quit smoking about 3 years ago, but don't mind too much if others do (As long as I don't have to smell it!). I've never been into drugs of any kind, and do not wish to be involved with anyone who is. I enjoy social drinking. So as long as you are not a 21st-century version of 'Otis-the-Drunk', then a few beers or a little wine from time to time is not an issue. I've got loads of interests, and enjoy riding my Sportster to poker runs, BBQs and camp-outs. Lively conversation and a good debate is always fun, too. I'd love to find a good, solid even-tempered, well read, reasonably intelligent guy who enjoys life, knows who he is and what he wants from life, and has a good sense of humor. No players need apply!

I don't have a 'must do' list for a first date. I really believe that the best times just seem to 'happen'. Too much planning can ruin even the best of intentions. There is a lot ot be said for spontaneity!
