My headline basically sums up my current outlook as well as being the title of a Brad Paisley country song : Do YOU want to continue searching aimlessly for that great movie/dinner date? Well, ME NEITHER! :) Don't let the country music reference fool you, though. My tastes are eclectic, my interests are varied and I am comfortable in just about any setting. You might find me at a rock concert one weekend, boot-scootin' the next weekend or attending a symphony orchestra performance when you least expect it.

I'm very comfortable in the kitchen and am not afraid to try out a new recipe or idea. I enjoy many different types of food and I've set a personal goal to try at least one new food a week. Nothing can beat a hot dog at a baseball game, though! (My favorite dog is at Wrigley Field)

I've got a 15 year old kiddo and am officially a high school band mom. I'm H/W proportionate with curves in the right places. If you are more into the Kate Moss or Kate Hudson body type...sorry...try the next profile. I enjoy the gym and work around soccer and band schedules to go at least 3x a week.

Some of my favorite things are that "after the rain" smell, fudge ripple ice cream, a good "whodunnit" mystery and as Kevin Costner once said in Bull Durham: "I like long, slow, deep, wet kisses that last for three days..."

I'd very much like to find someone who is willing to take the time and make the effort in nurturing a relationship. I'm not high-maintenance by any means, but I do like to feel as though I am important to my partner. You know...like calling just because, surprising me with a steak dinner on the grill or leaving the toilet seat down. :) Follow-through (or not) when you say you are going to do something is a "make or break" with me. Simple, little stuff carries a big impact in my book.

I have a very fulfilling life, so I'm not looking for someone else to do that for me (i.e. I'm not husband hunting, but whatever happens, happens and I welcome it ). I'd like to find that special person to include in the day to day stuff. Looks aren't critical, but they do play a role in overall chemistry. I am such a sucker for a great smile and great eyes. I really enjoy the company of men who have a good sense of humor. Mine tends to run on the dry, witty side. I've even been called sassy, LOL, so it's not uncommon for me to throw out a zinger of a one-liner now and again. I like intelligent conversation and someone who doesn't mind laughing at himself once in awhile. If you can wrap that with some basic courtesy, respect and a willingness to communicate, that makes me a happy texas girl!

A first can be anything from meeting for coffee and good conversation, a day at the zoo or dinner and a movie. Any opportunity to have some face to face time is a good one!
