Update, December 2009.
I guess the time has come to say goodbye to POF. The last two years have been soo much fun. I've met some adorable, completely fantastic women, some that I will remember forever. But, I've always thought I'd need to meet an absolutely amazing woman to leave the internet dating world - and I was right. Vanessa, I am all in, completely yours.

I am looking for a woman with a boatload of needs. It seems like every woman on this site has it all together. Where have all the psychos gone???
As for me, I do have it all together - at least that is what my court-appointed therapist tells me. And my debt consolidation counselor says I'll be able to start maxing out credit cards again in just a few months. til then, I'll just keep collecting my trusty unemployment checks, hangin out in my trailer and livin the high life. Oh, that thing with the police? It's all good; they don't have nearly enough evidence to get a conviction.
An ideal date would be slammin down a few brewskis at the corner dive, where I will generously offer to split the tab, then go for a romantic walk through the grey, somber industrial section of town. It's especially best on bitter cold windy February nights: the fumes from the toxic waste dump are a little more bearable, and you are much less likely to get hustled by the crackheads.

Are you tired of browsing through these online profiles while your friends are spending time with their boyfriends and husbands?
Do you ever wish you could say "let's cut the crap and get down to it?" (ok, it's allright if you have actually screamed that line lol).
Any guy can take you on a "date" and start telling you about himself, brag about his possessions and money, blah, blah, blah. Are you tired of that yet?
But not many guys can hold a meaningful conversation, over coffee or drinks, where you can learn things about yourself even your best friends didn't know.
I'm not after a hook-up. Let's be friends first and see where it all goes.
What am I looking for? Albert Einstein, of all people, put it best: He said, "When you put your hand on a hot stove for a minute it feels like an hour; when you are with a special girl for an hour it feels like a minute. That's relativity." I'm looking for the woman who changes my perception of time and space. Who wants to share the ups and downs, even the bumps and bruises, in this incredible journey we call life.

Be flexible. Things don't always go as planned. How about doing something peculiar? Like people watching at the Golden Ring WalMart, hiking along the Gunpowder after a light snowfall, or searching for a Starbucks in Dundalk? Oxymoron anyone?? There isn't one, of course, but driving and talking could be a fun date. We could stop for subs at Captain Harveys. How about pizza at B.O.P. in Fells Point, followed by some strategic bar hopping to get a taste of Baltimore?
