About Me
It’s hard to believe it’s already been six years since I moved to Ohio. Due to a job transfer, I relocated from Connecticut to Ohio. Also, I’m originally from Illinois. I’m looking to meet a woman for friendship first and if things progress well, we can discuss taking the next step. My ultimate goal is a long term relationship but I would like to take things slow to start. When I meet someone and things go from 0 to 100 mph in a week or two, I don’t do very well. When starting out, I would rather be a tortoise than a hare. Lol
About me: I’m single, 5'11" 180lbs, short brown hair and brown eyes. I do not smoke or do drugs. I only drink socially. I have never been married (can/will explain why later) and do not have any kids. I try to stay fairly active. Riding my bicycle 20 miles or more or jogging 4 to 5 miles is no big deal. Even though I try to stay in shape, I’m not obsessed about it. If I must grow old, I’m going to do it on my terms. I figure the best way to hit middle age is by staying active and being in shape.
Education: I was 30 when I graduated from college with a BS degree in Business Management. I always knew I would go to college but I also knew I wasn’t ready to do it right out of high school. I also have two certifications through a professional organization known as APICS. APICS stands for, “American Production and Inventory Control Society."
Employment: I work for a major manufacturing company as a Global Replenishment and Logistics Analyst. In a nutshell; I make sure we have the right amount of inventory in the right part of the world at the right time so we can maximize sales using minimal inventory investment.
Life Style: Even though I have a good white-collar job, I live more of a blue-collar lifestyle. Material things are not that important to me. I think not living paycheck to paycheck is more important than having the latest adult toys. I’m just a simple guy with simple tastes who leads a simple life.
Per religion: I’m more spiritual than religious. I was raised in the Catholic Church but I do not attend because of the issues I have with the institution. Even though I do not attend church, I do understand the importance of what religion teaches. I try to live my life based on these values.
Things I like to do with someone: movies, amusement parks (love roller coasters), hike, fireworks shows, workout, bike ride, skiing or just staying home and enjoying each others company. I’m not really into the bar scene but once in a while is not out of the question.
Meeting people for the first time: When it comes to meeting people for the first time, I’m more introverted than extroverted. I will never be the life of the party so that’s why I do better in small groups. Once I become comfortable with new acquaintances I do open up.
First Date
The first date would be very simple. You can only learn so much about a person thru emails or on the telephone. Until you meet in person you really don't get a true picture. I would like to talk and watch to see what makes you tick. If that goes well and time willing, we could go to dinner. For the second date when we are more comfortable, we could get more creative. Lastly, god forbid if you send someone a message they should at least have the common courtesy if not interested to say thanks but no thanks. Is that too hard to do?
